The successful candidate will enjoy the support of senior team members as they look to acquire a thorough understanding of the marketplace the company operates within. Once you have a grounding in the marketplace and company processes, you’ll begin to perform prospect outreach.

Business Development Executive Role:

  • Undertake research of prospective clients and their key decision makers
  • Using LinkedIn, emails and the phone, develop business relationships with these prospects with the view to scheduling meetings for senior members of the team
  • Educate clients as to how the company can help them
  • Attend business meetings, shadowing senior professionals with the view to running these meetings independently
  • Engage with key decision makers face to face, learning how to negotiate and close business with them
  • Determine whether there is opportunity for up and cross selling

Business Development Executive:

  • Educated to degree level
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Commercial acumen
  • Confident, with good presentation skills
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
